This theme is a simple, darker, grungier theme than the first 2 released. Its divisions were designed to be adsense-ready and the price asked is $300. I really like this theme. I think it has a nice ‘2.0′ feel while being pretty straightforward. It’s a simple design that just works. Anyway, that’s how I see it. Feel free to comment. Cheers!

I have designed both themes myself and like them quite a bit. Hopefully you will too. Both themes have been coded by Tim Holt, from Technokinetics. Tim does a great job of coding clean and easy to follow markup. He is also the one behind the coding of the Blue Stripes free WordPress theme we just launched.

The theme is called BlueStripes. It’s a quite minimalist, 2-column, widget-ready theme that is light on the eyes. All that we ask if you wish to use it is that you please keep the credit link in the footer.

To install the theme:

1. Unpack the folder in your wp-content/themes/ directory.
2. Go to the WordPress Admin panel and select presentation.
3. Select the Blue Stripes theme.

A few simple tweaks:

• Personalizing the sidebar: the sidebar is widget-ready. To change its display, either go directly to sidebar.php and make the changes manually or go to Admin Panel->Presentation->Widgets to drag and drop desired elements.
• Personalizing the ‘Welcome’ text in the sidebar: go to Admin Panel->Presentation->Theme Options to edit the welcome text.
